This new series aims to provide a forum for the best and most significant research in the period, with papers in each volume looking at a number of different aspects, political, social, economic, ecclesiastical, religious, and cultural. It adds to Boydell & Brewer's other series, Anglo-Norman Studies, Thirteenth Century England, and Fourteenth Century England, which taken together offer a complete overview of current critical debate in the middle ages.
