Boydell & Brewer Group will from 1 July include James Currey Publishers, the leading academic publisher on Africa, founded in 1984 by James Currey. ‘Joining Boydell & Brewer will be a great opportunity for us,’ says its managing director Douglas H. In 2009 Boydell & Brewer will celebrate 40 years of independent publishing. Orders for James Currey titles should continue to be sent to Marston Book Services. The first titles to appear under the new arrangement will be launched at the African Studies Association conference in Chicago and published in November 2008.
