A Viking museum and large-scale reconstruction of Viking York, based on archaeological excavations. A site dedicated to the Viking history of the Swedish island of Gotland, one of the richest sources of Viking finds (ten Viking harbours, 400 rune stones, and more than 700 Viking silver hoards!). Oslo Viking Ship museum. This beautiful museum displays three ships discovered in the 19th century. Lofotr, the Viking museum at Borg, north Norway. Based on the remains of a huge house thought to be the seat of a Viking chieftain. The Roskilde Viking museum the home to five original Viking ships.
