A cast bronze crossguard of both form and decoration characteristic of Petersen type O. A similar cast upper guard which was an isolated find in Haddebyer Noor, accession 13018 in the Wikinger Museum Haithabu, remains unfinished, retaining flanges from the casting process. Dimensions: 1.53 cm

A pommel of Petersen Type H with copper and silver wire inlaid onto an iron base. Some strands appear to alternate between silver and copper at a regular interval, indicating a twisted pair of wires. Dimensions: 4.54 cm in the axis of the blade by 8.07 cm in width and 2.96 cm in thickness. Photograph by Doug Whitman.
